The series STATIC explores states of tension within pictorial space. Starting from displacement, compression, and counterforce, it develops a visual language in which forces are no longer explicitly depicted, but contained. Throughout the series, form is progressively reduced. Structures recede, and materials become part of an internal system. The works shift from event to condition.
